Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in transportation is required.
• Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the companys safety programs and objectives
• Monitor hours of service for drivers; maintain compliance with all company and government regulations and policies
• Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load
• Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel
• Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet expense and financial forecast
• Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships
• Ensure maximum asset utilization
