Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) in Nitro, WV seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, personnel management, and service to customers within the region.

You will monitor driver hours, ensure regulatory compliance, lead staff development, forecast performance, and actively engage local customers to drive growth and strengthen relationships, while promoting safe work practices across the terminal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in transportation.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work behaviors in line with safety programs and objectives.
• Monitor hours of service for drivers; maintain compliance with all company and government regulations and policies.
• Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load.
• Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel.
• Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet expense and financial forecast.
• Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships.
• Ensure maximum asset utilization.
