Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assistant Student Transportation Operations Manager to lead daily operations at one or more transportation facilities, driving safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will supervise staff, assist with driver recruitment and training, and help ensure contract compliance and financial performance.

The role requires interpersonal skills, the ability to coordinate with school districts, and a hands-on approach to problem solving in a dynamic transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• Three or more years of experience in Student Transportation operations; leadership in safety/training/dispatch preferred.
• Ability to obtain CDL with P, S and air brake endorsements and pass a school bus driver physical within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the facility and assigned operations.
• Meet with staff and drivers to communicate mission, vision, values; share updates and address concerns.
• Interact with school district contacts to ensure satisfaction and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate driver recruitment and training to ensure route coverage and staffing levels.
