Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Regional Technical Specialist to support the Gulf/South East region. You will split time between shop and customer sites, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and related gear. Travel up to 50% is required.

Applicants should have 5+ years in power generation or HVAC service, with strong schematics skills and the ability to mentor technicians. A valid TWIC and DOT medical card may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
• Experience reading and applying schematics.

Responsibilities

• Sales support for technical questions and project planning; travel up to 50% to support projects.
• Collaborate with recruiting and first interviewer; assist service center manager with technician planning.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, engines, electrical distribution, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer sites; complete repairs.
• Mentor technicians as directed.
• Set up and operate equipment at shop or customer sites, solo or with a team.
