Reporting Line

This position reports to the Regional Technical Advisor Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will propose technical solutions and work on consulting assignments. You will execute low-complexity assignments according to agreed timelines and standards using established solutions. You will also provide support and technical advice to colleagues.

The work model for this role is remote. It contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.

Main Responsibilities
  • Propose technical solutions and work on consulting assignments using established standards, methods, and technologies.
  • Recommend consulting services and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Lead sales activities to secure consulting assignments up to 500 hours, negotiating with customer representatives.
  • Oversee and deliver consulting projects and manage contracts (including invoicing and work progress).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Automation, or related field; military experience with relevant skills; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft OS, software, process automation, networking, cybersecurity, and ABB control systems like 800xA, Harmony, or Symphony Plus (training provided if needed).
  • Self-motivated with excellent troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English and holds a valid driver's license.
  • Willing to travel extensively (80%+ overnight).
