Job summary

Canacre USA, LLC seeks a Regional NPDES Plan Development & Permitting Lead to act as the firm's senior technical authority for stormwater permitting and erosion and sediment control (ESC) plan development across the assigned region. You will ensure technical quality and regulatory defensibility of deliverables from concept through approval, while managing scope, schedule, and budget.

• Lead the development of stormwater and ESC plans across multiple jurisdictions with quality, defensibility, and timely delivery.
• Author and review NPDES permit applications, SWPPPs, NOIs, and ESC design documents.
• Advise clients and internal teams on permitting strategy, sequencing, and compliance.
• Coordinate with EPA, state agencies, and local programs to submit permits, secure approvals, and respond to inquiries.
• Interpret CGPs, industrial stormwater permits, and state ESC/design standards across the region.
• Develop technically sound, cost‑effective solutions for stormwater and erosion control challenges.
• Review deliverables from junior staff and subconsultants for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide direct client communication with reports, updates, and solutions, managing expectations to permit issuance.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for NPDES and ESC work packages.
• Identify risks and establish solutions, escalating as needed within management.
• Document scope changes and support change orders with the client.
• Host regular meetings with clients and project teams to review progress and regulatory developments.
• Support inspections and permit close-out activities.
