NV5 is seeking a Senior Stormwater & Environmental Compliance Program Manager in California with 15+ years of experience to lead complex stormwater and NPDES programs. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and advance client relationships through technical excellence and strategic guidance.

You will oversee regulatory reporting, BMP optimization, and training, while contributing to business development and high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience focused on stormwater
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client programs
• Experience with MS4 permits, NPDES, IGP, and watershed management
• Strong communication and regulatory documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead client stormwater compliance programs and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Manage MS4, Industrial General Permit, and watershed-based programs
• Oversee monitoring programs, watershed studies, and regulatory reporting
• Develop regulatory strategies and advise clients on compliance
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and quality control on multiple projects
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations
