Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Region Stormwater Compliance Manager to support the Region Stormwater Management Program.

The role encompasses assisting in regulatory permit applications, coordinating with division Presidents, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local stormwater rules. Responsibilities include supervising contractors, liaising with regulatory agencies, and performing inspections to uphold the DHI Stormwater Program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four or more years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• All required state level certifications.
• Must possess at least two, and possess or obtain within one year of employment, a total of three of the following four national stormwater certifications: CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, CISEC.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater compliance related regulatory permit applications.
• Assist in the management of the Region Stormwater Management Program in compliance with regulations.
• Develop, implement, and revise the Region Stormwater Management Program.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and consultants to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and respond to information requests.
• Conduct inspections and quality assurance audits of design and on-site practices.
• Identify cost-effective stormwater compliance measures and BMPs.
• Serve as the Region voice in stormwater emergencies.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and certifications.
• Provide training on stormwater compliance to Region and Division personnel.
