D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Division Stormwater Compliance Specialist I to manage the Division NPDES program and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local stormwater regulations.

You will prepare permit applications, coordinate with regulators and internal teams, supervise third-party contractors, and conduct inspections to maintain program effectiveness. Qualifications include a high school diploma, one year of stormwater experience, and relevant certifications; a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of stormwater related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Possess or obtain CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ or CISEC within one year of employment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater compliance permit applications.
• Manage the Division Stormwater Management Program in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and revise the Division Stormwater Management Program as needed.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal teams; supervise third-party contractors.
• Respond to information requests from regulatory authorities and liaise with leadership.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance audits.
• Provide compliance reports and recommendations to leadership.
