Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Retail District/Operations Manager to oversee 12–14 store locations in Maryland. You will recruit, train, and supervise Store Leaders, implement merchandising programs, and ensure excellent customer service.

You will manage cash flow and inventory, lead budget planning, maximize sales, and control expenses while setting performance goals and monitoring results with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree or 5+ years of district/regional retail operations management experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task, stay self-motivated, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12–14 store locations directly.
• Staff, train, and supervise Store Leaders.
• Implement merchandising programs across locations.
• Control cash handling and inventory processes.
• Motivate employees and build high-performing teams.
• Promote excellent customer service and store standards.
• Manage profit and loss, including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Set performance goals and objectives; monitor results with upper management.
