Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Maryland to lead all store operations, drive sales, and uphold our values.

You will mentor a team, deliver a world-class shopping experience, and own day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service management. The role requires 5+ years of retail management, leadership, strong communication, and flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established policies and initiatives
• Ensure team members fulfill their responsibilities and adhere to standards
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with Merchandising leadership
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs and chargeback paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model company SOPs
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget including reporting and record-keeping
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs
• Onboarding and training for new associates; ongoing coaching and development
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues; payroll budget management and scheduling
• Facilitate communication among store team, district and regional management and partners
