Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a State and Local Government Affairs Manager (Central) to advance our state government relations across the Central U.S. You will lead engagement with state and local leaders, build networks with officials, monitor policy developments, and develop policy collateral to support SpaceX and SpaceXSI priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in public or government affairs, plus the ability to travel to onsite locations and attend industry events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in public or government affairs including state/local policy, advocacy, and crisis/issue management.
• Willingness to travel and attend political and industry events as needed. Please be prepared for onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the Central US region.
