Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a State and Local Government Affairs Manager for the North/Mid-Atlantic region to advance state government relations, engage with officials, and support regulatory priorities across facilities. You will develop relationships, monitor policy shifts, and prepare collateral to advance SpaceX and SpaceXSI interests.

The role requires 5+ years in public/government affairs, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel and work onsite as needed. Remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in public or government affairs, including state/local policy, advocacy, and crisis/issue management.
• Experience and relationships with community leaders in the North/Mid-Atlantic region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the North/Mid-Atlantic region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local officials and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local policy developments.
• Prepare policy analyses and collateral materials as needed.
• Support the Director of Government Affairs with statewide priorities.
