Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a State and Local Government Affairs Manager (Pacific) to advance our state government relations across the Pacific region. You will lead legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy support for SpaceX and SpaceXSI, collaborating with leadership and local partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in public or government affairs, with a proven ability to build relationships, monitor policy developments, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in public or government affairs, including state/local policy, advocacy, and crisis/issue management.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and officials.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the Pacific region to support SpaceX priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and expand a network of relationships with local government officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research as needed and develop policy materials.
• Support the Director of Government Affairs with statewide government relations priorities.
