SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Government Affairs Manager to lead external affairs for our Louisiana operations. You will coordinate relationships with local government, civil leaders, and regulatory bodies while supporting SpaceX and SpaceXAI priorities.

The role requires initiative, energy, and dependability to deliver outcomes and includes statewide engagement and education outreach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in public affairs, policy, advocacy, or government relations.
• Experience with local government policy and legislative navigation is essential.

• Lead engagement with civic leaders across Pecan Island and the broader Louisiana region to support SpaceX priorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local government officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research as needed and develop policy materials.
• Partner with Communications to identify outreach opportunities.
• Support the director of Government Affairs with statewide government relations priorities as needed.
