Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Government Affairs Manager (Central) to advance state government relations across the Central region of the United States. The role focuses on legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy support for SpaceX and SpaceXSI's facilities.

Responsibilities include engaging with state and local leaders, building networks with officials and regulatory decision-makers, and tracking policy developments. Onsite work with occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in public or government affairs including state/local policy, advocacy and legislative navigation.
• Experience managing crisis and issue responses and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the Central region to support SpaceX priorities.
• Develop and maintain a network with local government officials and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research, develop policy materials and collateral.
• Support the Director of Government Affairs with statewide priorities as needed.
