Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Regional Solution Design Engineer to develop cost‑effective Lead Logistics solutions that meet complex customer requirements and can be implemented through the sales cycle.

You will report to the Regional Head of Solution Design Engineering and collaborate with Growth Managers, Sales, Product, Technology, and client teams to translate supply‑chain challenges into scalable solution proposals and formal Solution Design Documents.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain-related field.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes, vendor-managed inventory, transportation, or related solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Lean Six Sigma certifications are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design complex Lead Logistics solutions aligned with strategy and customer needs.
• Create and maintain solution concepts and Solution Design Documents through the sales cycle.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate pain points into clear proposals and deliverables.
• Coordinate with multiple product teams to ensure end-to-end execution in proposals.
• Present solutions clearly to customers and ensure a high-quality handover to implementation teams.
• Project manage the solution design process to support on-time delivery.
