Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC is seeking a Regional Solar Site Field Lead to oversee solar and BESS sites in the Houston region. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and efficient operation, leading O&M teams and coordinating with contractors.

Ideal candidates will have extensive O&M experience, HV/LV knowledge, and strong communication and leadership skills, with on-site availability and ability to rotate between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, with related industry experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in solar O&M.
• Over ten years of operations and maintenance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HV substation equipment and solar power generating technologies.
• Familiarity with LOTO procedures and Electrical Safe Work practices; NFPA 70E is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce TotalEnergies' HSE policies and ensure third parties comply with our standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative activities for multiple large-scale solar and BESS generation sites in the Houston region.
• Manage and support O&M contractors and equipment vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and best industry practices.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
• Maintain positive relationships with landowners, suppliers, customers, vendors, service providers, governmental authorities, and contractors.
• Contribute to the development of internal operating policies, standards, and procedures.
