Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX seeks a Regional Safety Manager to lead onsite safety inspections and oversight for solar and BESS projects. You will report to the Associate Director of Health and Safety, work across jobsites or home office, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3 years designing and implementing Health and Safety programs.
• 3 years creating Site Specific Safety Plans and conducting inspections.
• 3 years identifying training needs and delivering training.
• Experience in Safety Auditing and in-field safety management.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI and related regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Health and Safety programs across PV Power Plants and BESS projects.
• Ensure compliance with QCELLS USA standards and regulations.
• Develop Site-Specific Safety Plans and verify field activities.
• Prepare safety site visit reports and weekly/monthly safety reports.
• Identify training needs and deliver Health and Safety Training.
• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders on safety requirements.
• Lead safety communications and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 50% to jobsites as needed.
