Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in California to lead and inspire a team of regional Field Sales Consultants, driving revenue and customer satisfaction. You will partner with Retail and Ad Teams to optimize lead generation, coach representatives to excel in self-generation, referrals, and company opportunities, and manage the pipeline from sale to installation using Salesforce.

The role requires proven leadership, deep knowledge of the residential solar market, and strong forecasting

Qualifications

3+ years of management-level direct sales experience in growth technology, construction, or solar industry.
Strong working knowledge of residential solar market and sales best practices.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; must be 21+ with clean driving record.
Proven leadership abilities including communication, relationship building and coaching.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a regional Field Sales Consultants team to meet monthly and annual targets.
Train, motivate, and empower team to achieve self-generation, referral, and company opportunity sales.
Manage sales pipeline from lead to install using Salesforce reports and regular meetings.
Collaborate with Retail and Ad Teams to ensure lead generation and conversions to opportunities.
Provide pricing insights and competitive analysis for their region; maintain accurate forecasts.
Own and resolve regional customer relations issues with internal departments as needed.
