Job summary

Morrison Center seeks a Coordinator Program Assistant to support the Shared Living Program. This role oversees 20+ contracted homes across 14 counties with bi-monthly in-home visits, using the employee's vehicle.

You will assist with matching individuals and providers, perform QA reviews, and handle billing for providers. The position requires CPR/First Aid, DSP certification, HCBS knowledge, and ability to cover after-hours/weekend calls related to residential issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• CPR and First Aid training required.
• Direct Support Professional Certification required.
• HCBS 101 and Person-Centered Planning knowledge.
• CRMA and Safety Management training optional.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to be available for after-hours and weekend calls.

Responsibilities

• Assist with matching individuals and providers, provide QA reviews, and billing support for providers.
• Maintain consumer relationships ensuring respect and opportunity to grow.
• Promote informed choice in daily life for consumers.
• Ensure health and well-being of each consumer at all times.
• Participate with the case manager on home visits to aid decision-making.
• Conduct quality assurance activities.
• Collect background check applications and coordinate necessary checks.
• File GERs and reportable events; address medication or documentation issues.
• Provide MaineCare billing services for the Shared Living Providers weekly.
• Coordinate with case manager and Training Dept on HCBS training matters.
