Job summary

AECOM seeks a proactive SH&E Manager to lead Safety, Health & Environment efforts for the East Region. This hybrid role combines remote and in‑office work and requires 25–35% travel to support diverse projects across the region.

You will mentor teams, review site safety plans, and work with operations, clients and subcontractors to drive safety performance using Power BI and other digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SH&E or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Professional CSP or CIH certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to motivate and lead teams to work safely.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across levels.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with data management / analytics platforms like Power BI or Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible support for safety across the region.
• Monitor and assess safety programs at diverse sites.
• Develop actionable solutions to safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Lead incident management and verify corrective actions.
• Review safety plans, training, audits, and related programs.
• Recommend policy changes affecting regional operations.
• Train and coach employees at all levels.
• Assist operations in meeting safety targets and drive engagement.
