Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Regional Service Manager to lead a team of commercial service technicians in Orlando or Jacksonville, FL. In this role you will drive operational excellence, ensure client satisfaction, and model safety, compliance, and professional leadership.

You will manage dispatch, preventative maintenance, budgets, and cross‑functional collaboration with clients and vendors, while helping grow the service portfolio and delivering reliable facilities management across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role with supervisory or management experience leading a team of technicians.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC service (required).
• Strong leadership to engage and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication, including negotiating and client-facing interactions.
• Proactive problem-solving with continuous improvement focus.
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
• Self-motivated with ability to multitask and manage independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service technicians, fostering engagement, performance, and retention.
• Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and compensation recommendations.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards through training and incident monitoring.
• Support team members with expert problem-solving and guidance.
• Contribute to company-wide initiatives as needed.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and preventative maintenance.
• Review invoices for accuracy and manage budgets.
• Drive operational efficiencies and SOP implementation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clients and vendors.
