Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Service Manager to lead field technicians and operations professionals in maintenance, repair, and installation projects across commercial HVAC sites. You will drive KPI improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic service environment.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in commercial HVAC, leadership experience, and knowledge of building codes, with strong collaboration across sales, operations, and customer relations to deliver efficient service
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- 5+ years of experience in the Commercial HVAC industry.
- 5+ years of experience managing/leading a team of technicians.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering preferred.
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and local building codes; strong problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead field technicians and operations professionals to complete maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation projects.
- Ensure service guidelines and best practices are followed and improve KPI performance.
- Join DMB meetings daily to discuss progress on KPIs and actions.
- Ensure EH&S compliance and provide training for a safe work environment.
- Review invoices and time reports to manage accounts receivable efficiently.
- Resolve warranty issues and product recalls affecting service delivery.
- Coordinate staffing by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train technicians as workload requires.
- Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new service opportunities.
- Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan.
