Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a regional leader to oversee Mobile Technicians and drive growth in the designated region. You will mentor teams, coordinate regular meetings, and ensure safety and efficiency while collaborating with customers to meet their needs.

The role requires 3+ years in management and sales, a valid driver’s license, and significant travel (about 50%). Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools will support data-driven decisions and ongoing process

Job description

• Directly oversee, lead, and mentor Mobile Technicians in the designated region
• Lead a team of Mobile Technicians to drive productivity and growth
• Coordinate and conduct regular meetings with technicians to engage, energize, and mentor
• Provide leadership and supervision to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety standards are met
• Provide leadership to individuals and management
• Market and support business operations
• Collaborate with existing customers, especially customers with urgent issues, to provide solutions meeting customer requirements
• Demonstrate continuous improvement of processes
• Provide leadership to individuals and the management team daily
• Drive new business in developing markets and continue supporting existing markets
• Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• 50% travel within designated region
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a management or leadership role
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Sales
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Mechanical experience and knowledge
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience or knowledge of Diesel and Medium to Heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skills/experiences is a plus
• Knowledge of industry or mechanically inclined
• Service knowledge for heavy equipment, rental equipment, and rental trucks
• Ability to prospect for new accounts in an organized manner
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Competent using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously with limited to no supervision
