Sophos in the United States seeks a senior pre-sales professional to lead pre-sales activities for our cybersecurity portfolio in the Central American and Caribbean region. You will collaborate with partners and resellers, providing technical engineering support and acting as product expert for XGS Next Generation Firewalls, Encryption, Endpoint Protection, and more.

Deliver insights on security trends, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities, and share strategies to mitigate threats.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years in IT/cybersecurity sales.
MDR and Incident Response knowledge; cybersecurity for networks, cloud, Windows, Linux, Mac OS.
Ability to deliver engaging product demos to customers.
Clear articulation of competitive advantages to technical and business audiences.
Experience selling through channel partners in a team selling environment.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-sales activities for Sophos portfolio in the Central American and Caribbean region.
Collaborate with partners and resellers to boost their sales with technical support.
Serve as product expert for XGS Firewalls, Encryption, Endpoint Protection, and more.
Present security trends and vulnerabilities to customers and key accounts.
Share strategies to mitigate threats based on research and cases.
Provide technical guidance to partners and resellers on Sophos solutions.
Explain complex security concepts to C-level stakeholders.
Stay updated on threat landscapes and compliance requirements.
Ensure customers are informed about threats and best practices.
Report to HQ at Dallas, TX; telecommuting from home office in the U.S. up to 25% travel.
