Job summary

Integrated Protection Services seeks a Regional Service Technician in Louisville, KY to lead security system installations and deliver top-tier service for clients. You will manage projects from start to finish, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and maintain safety standards onsite.

You’ll troubleshoot, service, and update access control and CCTV systems, read blueprints and specifications, and stay current with product certifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a technical or security industry‑related role.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• 3-5 years of experience with access control systems (Lenel, DMP, Bosch).
• OSHA‑10 hour certification (First Aid and CPR certification required).
• Problem‑solving skills with ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
• Customer service mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Tech‑savvy: proficient with MS Word/Excel and company software.
• Physical readiness: ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Execute: Assist in installation, programming, and servicing of security access control systems (including Lenel).
• Prioritize safety by following IPS protocols and halting work if risks are present.
• Service & maintain: perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates for security systems at client sites.
• Quality control: conduct on‑site reviews, create punch lists, address issues.
• Customer & team collaboration: coordinate with clients, internal teams and subcontractors.
• Stay up to date: complete manufacturer and company training and obtain product certifications.
• Adapt & deliver: be available for after‑hours or weekend work as required.
• Use technology: navigate company software for job details and communication.
