Job summary

DK Security in Michigan is seeking an Operations Manager to lead contract and temporary security programs in the region. You will supervise Site Supervisors and Security Officers, ensure site visits, manage training, and support business development initiatives. A CPL is required; a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice or Business Administration is preferred.

Travel and flexible hours are part of the role. Responsibilities include contract management, client relations, overtime and payroll oversight,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience as a security manager or above in government or corporate service is highly desirable.
• Must have (or be willing and able to quickly obtain) a Concealed Pistols License (CPL).
• Impeccable grooming and above average customer service skills required.
• Must present a friendly, professional image to clients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management and oversight of client relationships.
• Ensure Supervisors complete required site visits and are outfitting staff appropriately.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and clients; conduct performance appraisals.
• Overtime management, payroll and staff training coordination.
• Recruiting with HR to maintain high-quality workforce and deployments.
