Job summary

DK Security in Michigan is seeking an Operations Manager to lead contract and temporary security programs in the region. You will supervise Site Supervisors and Security Officers, manage client relationships, and help drive business development while ensuring compliance and high service levels.

Some travel is required; CPL may be required for armed posts. This full-time role reports to the Director of Operations, with a Monday–Friday 1st shift and a salary starting at $47,000 plus site pay for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration preferred.
• 2+ years of security management or supervisory experience desired.
• Must obtain or hold a Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, staffing and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract and temporary security programs in the assigned region.
• Supervise Site Supervisors and Security Officers in the field.
• Ensure site visits are completed and employees are properly outfitted.
• Maintain positive client and employee relations and manage payroll and OT.
• Recruit and deploy qualified security personnel in coordination with HR.
• Manage site equipment, incident reporting and on-call coverage.
• Support business development initiatives and overall company goals.
