Job summary

DK Security is looking for a Regional Security Supervisor to oversee unarmed security officers at construction yards in the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids areas. This on-site role requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to coordinate scheduling and training across sites.

You will manage access, patrol, CCTV monitoring, and customer service, while ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• No felony convictions; pass criminal background check.
• Must pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Friendly, positive and professional image.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Read/write English; interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills; MS Office, Email, Internet.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Own reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement available.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record; driving sites.
• Less than 3 moving violations in last 3 years; less than 2 at-fault accidents; no major violations.
• Physical: sit/stand/walk; lift up to 50 pounds; respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Access Control: verify authorized personnel at sites.
• Patrolling: inspect interior/exterior and identify issues.
• Camera Monitoring: observe CCTV across the site.
• Customer Service: enforce rules with de-escalation and quality service.
• Site Supervision: coach team, schedule, submit timesheets, liaise with scheduler/ops manager.
