Job summary

FedEx is seeking a security professional to act as the primary regional security resource, overseeing on‑site programs that protect people, assets, and brand. You will lead risk assessments, manage urgent incidents, and investigate issues like workplace violence and losses.

You’ll liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, monitor surveillance and access control, and train partners on security best practices while tracking key metrics and driving action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a directly related field.
• Three years of experience in corporate security, audit, law enforcement, or related loss prevention.
• Strong writing, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads district level security program efforts to protect people, assets, and brand at the location.
• Conducts security risk assessments and responds to urgent security matters.
• Leads investigations into incidents including workplace violence, fraud, or losses.
• Liaises with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to support investigations and compliance.
• Monitors security plans and technologies such as surveillance and access control.
• Tracks key security metrics and addresses gaps or physical security concerns.
• Assists training of business partners on security best practices.
• Performs on‑site visits with customers to review security shipping concerns.
• Travel may be necessary.
