Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Pittsburgh, onsite, seeks a regional security leader to protect people, assets, and brand integrity. You will conduct risk assessments, manage incidents, and lead investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses.

You will coordinate with law enforcement, monitor surveillance and access control, train partners, and report on security metrics while maintaining knowledge of TSA/FAA guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a directly related field.
• Three (3) years related experience required in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, and/or loss analytics.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
• Ability to complete required training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead district level security program efforts to protect People, Assets, and Brand at the assigned location.
• Conduct security risk assessments and respond to urgent security matters.
• Investigate incidents involving potential workplace violence, security breaches, losses, or fraud.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to support investigations and compliance.
• Monitor security plans and technologies including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
• Track and report on security program goals and metrics and address gaps.
• Train business partners on security best practices.
• Initiate on-site visits with customers to review security concerns and action plans.
