Job summary

FedEx is seeking a district security leader to manage on-site programs protecting people, assets, and brand at the California location. You will conduct risk assessments, respond to urgent incidents, and oversee investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses.

You will liaise with law enforcement, monitor surveillance and access control systems, track metrics, and train partners on security best practices while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a directly related field.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate security, audit, or loss prevention experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead district level security program efforts to protect people, assets, and brand.
• Perform risk assessments and respond to urgent security matters.
• Lead investigations into incidents involving workplace violence, fraud, losses or integrity concerns.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies for investigations and compliance.
• Monitor security technologies including cameras and access control systems.
• Track metrics and report on security program goals; address gaps and concerns.
• Train business partners on security best practices.
• Coordinate on-site reviews and action plans for security shipping concerns.
