Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a regional security leader to serve as the primary security resource for on-site programs protecting people, assets, and brand integrity. You will conduct risk assessments, manage urgent incidents, and lead investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses at the Kentwood, MI location.

You will liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, oversee security technologies, and train business partners on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in directly related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience in corporate security, audit, or loss prevention.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Leads district level security program efforts to safeguard People, Assets, and Brand at the assigned location.
• Conducts security risk assessments and responds to urgent security matters.
• Lead investigations into incidents such as workplace violence, fraud, losses, or integrity concerns through interviews and evidence reviews.
• Liaises with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to support investigations and compliance.
• Monitors security plans and technologies including cameras and access control systems.
• Tracks and reports on security program goals and metrics; addresses gaps and physical security concerns.
• Supports training of business partners on security best practices.
• Initiates on-site visits to review security shipping concerns and formulate action plans.
