North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative to develop new business and manage the full sales life cycle in the Midwest region (IL, IN, MI, WI).

The role requires strong prospecting, relationship-building with contractors, suppliers, and architects, and a track record of achieving sales targets. Travel about 50% is expected to meet clients and close deals.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of outside sales experience.
• Field of Study preferred: Sales/Marketing or related.
• Willing to travel 50% with Midwest region coverage (IL, IN, MI, WI).

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree
Field of Study Preferred:Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Required Work Experience:Three years of business outside sales experience, preferably construction-related

Midwestern Region territory comprises the following states: Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Michigan (MI), and Wisconsin (WI). Local candidates in these states preferred. No relocation offered.

What we provide:

• $65,000 to $100,000 highly competitive base salary coupled with bonus remuneration based upon sales target achievement.
