Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Sales and Operations Leader based in Houston, TX to align team efforts with organizational goals and ensure access to essential tools and resources.

You will oversee regional sales strategies, equipment provisioning, and cross-divisional collaboration while maintaining focus on performance metrics and customer satisfaction. Some travel may be required as part of business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Aviation, Logistics, or related field; advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in sales or operations.
• Experience in sales, commercial operations, air cargo, or airline operations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Solid knowledge of sales management, CRM, and operational processes.
• Proven analytical ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, and Inside Sales staff; set objectives and monitor KPIs.
• Develop regional sales strategies aligned with corporate goals and monitor market trends.
• Oversee equipment provisioning and coordinate with IT for procurement and upgrades.
• Serve as liaison between the regional team and Route Management, IT, Accounting, Operations, HR.
• Compile and present monthly performance reports on sales, service metrics, and efficiency.
• Address escalations and optimize processes to improve customer satisfaction and throughput.
