Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead a large salaried and hourly team in Visalia, CA. You will oversee budget, safety, productivity and customer experience while driving continuous improvement.

This senior role requires 7+ years of direct management in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics, plus a Bachelor's degree and proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop leaders across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Owns the operational budget for functional area, including safety, productivity, financial and labor planning, and operational goals for outbound, or inbound operations.
• Leads Operations and Area Managers to drive productivity and improve customer experience.
• Drives strategic planning (3, 6, 12 months) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning.
• Recruits and mentors staff; partners with HR, Finance, Safety, IT and other leaders to secure resources.
