Regional Sales Manager, West - fully remote

This position is located in our West region, with an ideal candidate working from their home office and already living in a metro area within California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, or Colorado, within close proximity to a major airport for ease of travel.

The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for executing the strategic sales objectives for the region, supporting corporate initiatives, achieving sales budgets and targets, and optimizing sales volume and profitability. The RSM is also responsible for training, managing, motivating, and developing the regional sales agency team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Attain sales volume objectives by developing strategies for the region's sales force, implementing the business plan, analyzing market conditions, and integrating strategic initiatives.
  2. Develop close relationships with key operator and distributor accounts through personal sales calls and participation in industry events.
  3. Ensure the sales team is trained and coached effectively, maintaining accurate CRM data and utilizing marketing tools.
  4. Achieve sales call objectives by planning and executing with the team, working with agency market leads to meet company goals.
  5. Regularly coach and train sales agency teams, providing feedback and conducting business reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in food manufacturing and foodservice sales preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and financial understanding skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and MS Office; ability to travel up to 50%.
