Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization

As a Regional Sales Manager for our Transportation vertical at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing sales operations within the western half of the US region. Your responsibilities will include driving business growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in the Building Automation industry, including BMS, Fire Alarm & Security solutions. Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and results-driven approach are essential to achieve sales objectives.

You will report directly to the Transportation Sales Director and work remotely from our US location.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell's growth and success by achieving sales targets, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance growth and profitability in the Airports/Transportation sectors.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain operational excellence and quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet objectives.
  • Coordinate with product development and marketing to drive innovation.
  • Set incentive quotas aligned with market strategy to meet or exceed AOP.
  • Coach the team on outcome-based selling and engaging with C-Level executives.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting using Salesforce.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members, fostering both Account Management and Business Consulting skills.
  • Evaluate staff behaviors and results, managing performance to meet expectations.
