Job description

Please note while this position reports to the PSG Corporate office in Downers Grove, IL, we are looking for candidates that are located in the Northeast region of the United States. The Regional Sales Manager Territory includes NY/NJ/PA/CT/MD/DE.

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales plans and account strategies to drive revenue growth and profit for PSG product lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PSG brand sales plans and growth strategies.
  • Develop and execute an annual revenue plan, including providing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual formal business report outs.
  • Partner with channel development, sales, and business development teams to develop and execute strategic marketing and growth plans for territory/region.
  • Develop a pipeline for future revenue and build growth strategies and long-term sales plans.
  • Identify new business and customer opportunities and develop strategies for supporting customers.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and budgeting processes and identify opportunities to manage expenses & increase margins.
  • Represent the company at trade shows.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Engineering in the development of new products and promotional programs.
  • Maintain excellent communications externally and internally.
  • Keep sales leadership informed on important matters that require immediate action or attention.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key markets and economic factors affecting PSG results.
  • Develop awareness and understanding of competition and translate that knowledge into opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; BS in Engineering a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in direct customer sales with an emphasis on engineered sales solutions.
  • Prior experience managing a sales or account management team is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with large, complex accounts.
  • Specific Skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM (Salesforce.com preferred).
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: CFSP, CWS, or WQA certified a plus.
  • Travel Requirement is 50 – 70% (Domestic & Canada).

Work Arrangement: Remote

Pay Range: $89,706.00 - $122,391.00 annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
