Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools, build strong relationships, and generate new business while maintaining existing accounts. Territory includes DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV with a remote-friendly work policy and significant travel.

You will collaborate with sales leadership and product specialists, aiming to exceed sales targets and maintain a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills, calendar management, and CRM experience.
• Willing to live within the territory (Eastern PA, NJ, Baltimore, MD, or Richmond, VA area) and travel 50–70%.
• Experience selling into K-12 libraries and public library markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to meet growth targets.
• Meet or exceed in-person visit targets (40 per month) and cover accounts in the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and product specialists to achieve goals.
• Travel 50% or more; attend conferences and meetings as needed.
• Build expert product knowledge and be able to present with slides and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes/pricing, and coordinate trials with the Account Executive.
• Maintain daily sales activities and pipeline for accurate forecasting.
