Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to visit public libraries and K-12 schools, build relationships, and generate new business while renewing existing accounts. Territory includes DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV.

The role requires travel and a strong background in SaaS or information products sales. You will collaborate with sales leadership, demonstrate products, qualify customer needs, and manage quotes and trials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of true outside sales experience.
• Strong organizational skills, calendar management, and experience with Office software and CRM tools.
• Applicants must live within the territory and preferably in Eastern PA, New Jersey, Baltimore, MD, or Richmond, VA area.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to meet growth quotas.
• Meet or exceed in-person visits (40 per month) and ensure balanced coverage across the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales Director, Account Executive, and product specialists to achieve sales goals.
• Travel 50% or more, including conferences and sales meetings as needed.
• Achieve expert knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competitors.
• Provide professional presentations with slides and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes, coordinate trials, and manage the sales pipeline.
