Sales Talent Inc. seeks a field-based Account Executive to drive growth across a multi-state Southwest territory. You will own and grow California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, selling highly engineered material handling and processing solutions to blue-chip customers.

Lead consultative, technical sales cycles, collaborating with application engineers to craft customized solutions. Travel 40–50% with strong upside compensation and a history of exceeding revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Proven hunter mentality with a track record of developing and closing new business.
• Strong consultative and technical selling skills in complex sales.
• Experience selling capital equipment, engineered systems, or related technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a multi-state territory including California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
• Drive new business development (80%) while expanding strategic existing relationships (20%).
• Sell engineered material handling and processing solutions across multiple markets.
• Lead consultative, technical sales cycles ranging from $20K to $2M+.
• Partner with application engineers to develop customized customer solutions.
• Develop strategic account plans for growth opportunities.
• Manage and support manufacturer representative partners in the territory.
• Engage senior decision makers at plants and operations leadership.
• Own territory forecasting, sales planning, and profitability objectives.
