Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Central

About the Role:

As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Central territory, you will play a pivotal role in our partnership with various retailers, including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Dillards, Sephora, Ulta, and other luxury partners. This position combines team leadership with strategic partnership management, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional.

Role Duties and Accountabilities:

Strategic Partnership Management

  • Partner with the Sales Director to align with overarching company goals.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships at counter and store manager levels.
  • Analyze retail performance of all product classes for each account by season, total chain, by door, and by market.
  • Continuously evaluate cosmetic/fragrance department trends and rankings; identify Nest rank and adjust strategies accordingly to increase it.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Education.
  • Engage regularly with retail senior management to review store performances and strategize solutions.
  • Plan and execute cluster trainings in partnership with store teams.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Recruit, train, and lead a freelance team of account coordinators.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies for individual team members and the group.
  • Oversee team performance, making tactical adjustments to meet and exceed targets.
  • Build a call cycle supporting each individual.
  • Support and co-host retail events to achieve sales objectives.
  • Learn from and share best practices with other regional managers.
  • Focus on the development and growth of account coordinators and freelancers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in multi-location management and sales team leadership.
  • Strong background in retail sales, preferably in fragrance or beauty.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and travel (40% of time).
  • Flexible schedule based on market needs, typically Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Energetic, passionate, with an entrepreneurial and flexible approach.
