Qualifications

Regional Sales Manager - Central

Location: Dallas, TX

How You Will Make an Impact

The Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in achieving Morgan's sales targets and expanding the business in the Central US.

About the Team

Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales for the assigned region, leading regional account managers and collaborating with the technical sales team.

Daily Responsibilities
  1. Support Penske & Ryder field sales and service needs, including training, spec consultation, quotes, joint customer calls, warranty follow-up, and scheduling.
  2. Support regional lease corporate and field sales, including training, spec consultation, quotes, order entry, joint customer calls, warranty follow-up, and accounts receivable management.
  3. Support distributor sales efforts, including training, advocacy, joint customer calls, costing, engineering liaison, warranty follow-up, and administration.
  4. Sell and service direct fleet business, including spec consultation, quoting, order entry, warranty follow-up, and chassis coordination.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  6. Coordinate chassis to body orders, including without VINs, chassis identification, and delivery scheduling.
  7. Investigate warranty issues and contribute to resolution.
  8. Serve as a liaison between sales and engineering to ensure clear communication of customer expectations from quote to build.
  9. Respond promptly to manufacturing 'red flags' and resolve issues.
  10. Maintain personal skills, including professional appearance, time management, and product knowledge.
Sought-After Credentials
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
  2. Strong knowledge of the medium-duty truck market, customer segments, and sales strategies.
  3. Experience with product knowledge and order processes from quote to delivery, including warranty and customer care.
  4. Excellent organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Problem-solving abilities.
Must-Have Abilities

Ability to work in an office environment for at least eight hours daily, with occasional walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds. May require exposure to manufacturing areas with PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection.
