Job description

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to fill an opening with a Manufacturing Company. Must have direct sales background and ability to coach/ lead sales reps plus close business deals. High-energy, enthusiastic go-getter.

Requirements of the Regional Sales Manager
  • Previous experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager, or Regional Sales Manager
  • Proven track record of sales success as a Sales Manager
  • Proven ability to:
    • Drive the sales process from inception to close
    • Hire, Fire, Train and Develop Regional Teams
    • Articulate distinct aspect of the products and services
    • Successfully position products against competitors
    • Ability to write a Sales plan for the territory year to year
  • Critical thinker & Problem solver
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of Sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent selling experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience
  • Team player and model employee
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager
  • Meet and exceed organization sales quotas
  • Execution and usage of CRM system for area per company policy
  • Accountable for all new product sales with knowledge of existing products
  • Co-Travel with sales representative throughout their regional area including overnight travel and presenting new product information to customers - providing support as needed to secure business
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Evaluate area performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, new accounts, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals to Architects and General Contractors
  • Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established goals
  • Assure that sales activities in the area comply with A2P's policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing sales area coverage plans, which define the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals
  • Provide timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in business and product planning
  • Thinks critically, strategically, and tactically
  • Are results driven, can motivate, cultivate, implement, and maintain company culture
  • Develop and execute with the Vice President of Sales specific strategies and tactics to market with new and existing products
  • Prepare and execute annual sales plan for their region
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Take a vision and make it an actionable sales plan
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales on development of new products price lists, programs, advertising
  • HR knowledge and practices relating to the sales team and employees
