Regional Sales Manager (Remote – Must Reside in Eastern or Western U.S.)

Wausau Tile, a national leader in architectural concrete, terrazzo, and metal products, is seeking Regional Sales Managers to oversee our independent sales representatives in the Eastern and Western U.S. regions. These remote roles require candidates to be based in either the Eastern or Western United States, with the ability to effectively manage and support teams located across multiple states.
For more than 70 years, Wausau Tile has set the standard in innovative, sustainable manufacturing. We were the first U.S. producer of cementitious terrazzo tile and a pioneer in hydraulically pressed concrete pavers. Our products are proudly made in our 550,000-square-foot facility in the Midwest and can be found in communities across the country.
Team Leadership & Coaching
Lead and support a team of 15–20 independent sales reps
Train, mentor, and reinforce Wausau Tile’s proven sales process
Conduct regular coaching sessions and skill development activities
Help reps grow accounts and cross-sell products across five divisions
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement regional sales strategies
Set sales targets and monitor performance metrics
Identify growth opportunities in new markets and product lines
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, and specifiers
Assist reps in closing high-value or complex deals
Represent Wausau Tile at trade shows and industry events
Market Insights
Analyze regional trends and competitor activity
Share market feedback with leadership and product teams
Must reside in the Eastern or Western U.S., with the ability to remotely oversee teams across multiple states
5+ years of experience in sales and team management
Background in construction, architecture, or building materials (preferred)
Proven ability to coach and drive sales performance
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Experience with CRM systems
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%)
