Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

We build, install, and maintain the platform that courtrooms and judicial systems use to capture the record and we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in Eastern Texas to help us change the world.

BASIC FUNCTION

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is a key central figure within the sales function responsible for developing a portfolio of accounts through new business development as well as consistent upselling/cross-selling and growth within this base. RSM will aggressively drive new opportunities throughout the entire region using creative messaging approaches in coordination with JAVS corporate marketing efforts. RSM will routinely measure the competitive landscape and communicate with the Director of Sales and leadership accordingly.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable selling and using technology. The territory for the position is Eastern Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Create new business by cultivating and increasing JAVS market share throughout assigned region.
  2. Maximize customer penetration through prospecting, presentation, selling, closing, follow-up and account development skills.
  3. Forecast sales volumes, profit margins, and net profit and achieve mutually agreed upon revenue/gross profit targets; produce sales trend reports and other analysis for leadership review via NetSuite.
  4. Accurately analyze and assess statistical data that impact the industry and competitive approaches on an ongoing basis.
  5. Pay close attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet organizational deadlines.
  6. Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry.
  7. Develop and evaluate/adjust promotional and advertising activities in collaboration with sales leadership.
  8. Travel up to 60% for on-site projects involving pre- and post-sale activities.
  9. Attend regional and national industry conferences representing JAVS.
  10. Manage NetSuite content; develop reports for team and sales leadership.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or sales-related field desired.
  2. 7-10 years selling experience at manager/senior levels with strong negotiating skills and ability to close; consultative approach.
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM packages (Salesforce/NetSuite).
  4. Comfortable using and selling technology.
  5. Proven success with sales production against quotas.
  6. Experience managing technology demos and troubleshooting in the field.
  7. Strong presentation skills; ability to foster client relationships.
  8. Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
