Our Client is looking for a Hydraulic Regional Sales Manager - South Central Region, handling the following territory states: TX, OK, AR, LA. TERRITORY: TX, OK, AR, LA (Candidate can reside in either one of the states that are listed in the Territory).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate and expand business development opportunities for hydraulic system components
- Drive revenue growth in the assigned territory by expanding customer base to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Increase and maintain partnerships with customers to increase loyalty and strength in the marketplace to achieve and attain business benchmarks
- Perform market research to get customer insights and feedback on competitive products so that Company can improve upon its market position
- Conducts market research to identify new business opportunities, actively pursuing leads through cold calling and targeted outreach
- Utilize a strategic selling approach to engage with your customers, as well as, providing them with custom solutions to increase their performance goals
- Log all interactions and activity using daily logs in the CRM system to ensure to meet KPIs (key performance indicators) for calls and/or in-person site visits, and other related customer activities
- Represent the Company at industry tradeshows, build relationships with prospects and expand business opportunities
- Efficiently manage sales activities (i.e. Travel Expenses) while adhering to Company budgetary guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor'sDegree, preferred and B.A. degrees also considered.Preference given to those degrees with a technical background
- Minimum 5 yrs. technical product sales experience with a proven track record working with distributors and OEM’s
- Hydraulic Sales experience with a fluid power manufacturer or distributor, preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 60%, some overnight travel is included
