Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia sales territory. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position focuses on the sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the USCA Sales Director.

***Must reside within territory (Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Endorse and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide outstanding support and service to customers regarding product recommendations, applications, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry expertise to stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competition, and develop business plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
  1. 4-year college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry or significant ownership/employer experience in construction contracting.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with the ability to collaborate effectively, develop solutions, and address issues practically.
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  5. Technical ability to understand product data sheets, MSDS sheets, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial disposition with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
